The brief for this project was to create a home that felt warm and welcoming. The client was drawn to traditional details but wanted them reimagined in a more contemporary way. Materiality was at the heart of the design. Rich textures were layered throughout to celebrate the character of the property, from terracotta and Zellige tiles to subtle wall panelling and beautifully soft upholstery.

The palette remained soft and calming, with occasional pops of colour adding warmth and personality. Scandinavian heritage furniture sits alongside vintage finds and bespoke joinery, which features throughout the house. Built-in storage around the TV, an elegant library and a striking headboard in the master bedroom are just some of the custom pieces designed for the space.

Every room was thoughtfully transformed. Some spaces, like the lower ground floor bathroom, underwent a complete renovation, creating a calm, retreat like room with soft tones and natural materials. Others were carefully refreshed. The existing kitchen was already in great condition, so a fresh coat of paint and a beautiful new splash back were all it needed to give it a new lease of life.
